Disaster Contributions Updates Hurricane Gustav Business Roundtable moved quickly to activate its disaster network with the American Red Cross and FEMA to prepare for Hurricane Gustav. Roundtable officials participated in a briefing with FEMA days before the hurricane made land fall and were stationed at the American Red Cross Disaster Operation Center in the event that the damage required immediate outreach to companies to secure needed support. Over the weekend, The American Red Cross dispatched more than 3000 relief workers in 200 vehicles who were deployed to various staging areas in the gulf states.
